Arab coalition intercept ballistic missile by Houthis at KSA – spokesman

RIYADH, Arab coalition suppoting legitimacy in Yemen said Friday its forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missiles fired by Houthis from Saada, Yemen, towards Saudi Arabia’s territories. No one was hurt.
Air defense forces intercepted a missile fired by the Iranian-backed Houthis towards city of Jazan, coalition spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki said in a statement, cited by official SPA news agency.
He said the Saudi air force destroyed the missile. No one was hurt.
Al-Malki said Houthis’ hostile acts proved anew violations of UN Security Council resolutions 2216 and 2231.
He asserted that attacking populated areas with ballistic missiles was a violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
The Houthis have so far fired 185 ballistic missiles at Saudi Arabia.
