Arab Parliament lauds UNGA’s stance on Palestinians’ protection

The Arab Parliament Thursday lauded the UN General Assembly’s (UNGA) resolution, which called for the protection of Palestinian civilians in Israeli-occupied territories.

In a statement, the speaker of the Arab Parliament, Meshal Al-Selmi said that the resolution was a victory for Palestine, thanking all those who voted in favor of the resolution.

The Arab Parliament will adamantly be in favor of all resolutions to ensure the rights of Palestinians in their lands and their protection, said Al-Selmi who condemned the Israeli brutal use of force against innocent civilians.

The UNGA resolution for the protection of Palestinian saw 120 nations voting in favor, eight nations voting against it, while 45 countries abstaining.
