BAHRAINI CROWN PRINCE EXTOLS KUWAIT FOR EFFORTS TOWARDS G.C.C. UNITY

MANAMA, Bahrain, May 4 (NNN-BNA) – Bahrain’s Crown Prince, Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, heaped praise on Kuwait, Wednesday, for the country’s commitment, to bring Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations, closer together.

As he received visiting Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Anas Al-Saleh, the Bahraini Crown Prince underscored the breadth of ties between the two Gulf nations.

Moreover, he highlighted the need to ratchet up cooperation among GCC nations, as a strategy to attain sustained development in the Gulf region, which will be instrumental in ensuring persistent growth.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Minister of Finance, said that, he was anticipating the outcome of the GCC Committee for Financial and Economic Cooperation’s meeting, due Thursday (today), in the Bahraini capital, which he hoped would yield closer ties.

The Kuwaiti delegation to the meeting includes Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), Mohammad Al-Hashel and other senior Kuwaiti officials.– NNN-BNA
