IRBIL, At least three people were killed and 20 others injured on Wednesday when a car bomb ripped through a market in Al-Qayyara district, south of Mosul, said Security Information Center of the Iraqi Joint Operations Command in a statement.
The car bomb was exploded in the market in the center of the district, leaving three people dead and 20 others injured, the statement added.
Meanwhile, the Security Council of the Kurdistan region of Iraq revealed an increase in security breaches in the cities of Kirkuk and Mosul and other areas in September.
The attacks of the so-called Islamic State (IS) escalated in Kirkuk and Mosul, targeting the homes of security personnel, it said in a statement.
