Countries update coronavirus lists

KUWAIT, Countries on Saturday continued updating their lists of the novel coronavirus victims as they grappled to contain the deadly bug and minimize its casualties.

The Saudi Health Ministry registered 17 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 103 said the ministry in a statement.

In the UAE, the Health Ministry announced the recovery of three patients to reach 23 recoveries.

In a statement, the ministry said that the recovery of the virus cases reflects the country’s strong health care system that serves citizens and residents alike.

Meanwhile, in the UK, the Ministry of Health confirmed new 10 coronavirus death cases, bringing the toll to 21.

In a press statement, Britain’s National Health Service said that all of the deceased were classified under the “high risk” list due to their ages or their suffering from health problems, especially those related to the respiratory system.

The Health Ministry stressed that the coronavirus infection cases toll jumped to 1,140 after recording 342 new infections.

In Switzerland, the Health Authorities announced that the coronavirus cases reached 1,359, while the death toll amounted 11.

The Swiss authorities have urged citizens and residents to avoid public transport as much as possible and to respect the rules of personal health.

In Spain, the Spanish TV announced that the infection cases got to 5,945 and the deaths reached 187.

Meanwhile, there are now a total of 907 cases of Coronavirus in Norway after 156 new cases were reported in the country, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health reported Saturday.

The figures show that more than half of those who have tested positive have been in Austria, and that 223 have been infected in Norway.
