Cross border Indian firing kills Pakistani soldier along LoC

ISLAMABAD, A Pakistani army soldier was killed and two civilians were injured due to cross border firing by Indian army in Pakistan administered Kashmir along the Line of Control (LoC), said military on Thursday.

According to Pakistan military’s media wing, Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in the Baroh and Chirikot sectors along LoC.

It confirmed that a soldier was killed and two women injured in Serian village. The Pakistan Army retaliated and targeted several Indian posts. Both India and Pakistan have accused each other several times of ceasefire violations.
