Darian meets Ambassador of World Peace Organization

Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Darian, received on Friday the Goodwill Ambassador of the World Peace Organization to the Middle East, Hassan Houhou, who pinned great hope on Former Prime Minister, Saad Hariri’s internal and external contacts en route to a solution to the nation’s standing political issues.

“Hariri’s contacts will eventually bear fruit and bring the Lebanese closer together, especially concerning the election of a new President,” Houhou, who is also Head of Kuwait’s Dar Al-Fatwa Committee, said in the wake of the meeting.

“Peace and stability in Lebanon and the Middle East region are a pressing need for those enduring the painful security and economic repercussions of the situation,” he added, deeming Arab Gulf countries the “safety valve” of Arab nations.
