KUWAIT, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah chaired the Supreme Council for Planning and Development’s second meeting as part of its 2018’s Second Session.
The meeting, held last night, discussed reports by SCPD’s committees submitted on the second session’s agendas, the Council said in a press statement Thursday.
It also discussed the economic committee’s report on economic and financial sustainability in the country, added the statement, noting SCPD also reviewed a report on the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development.
The meeting also discussed a report by the human and urban development committee on priorities of the government’s action plan, in addition to the committee’s opinion on housing issues, suggested solutions, and mortgage draft law.
The Council concluded the meeting after discussing general policies and media committee’s report on combating corruption in the country.
For his part, Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah commended SCPD’s strategic and development role, as well as the efforts exerted by its various committees, wishing everyone best of luck and perpetual success in serving Kuwait and attaining the desired goals of New Kuwait 2035 Vision.
