EU Ambassador praises Kuwait’s humanitarian efforts

European Union Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Cristian Tudor praised Kuwait’s humanitarian efforts in serving people suffering from natural disasters.

He added in remarks to KUNA following his meeting with Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Board of Directorates (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer earlier on Wednesday, that he endorses KRCS role in supporting people suffering from natural disasters and alleviating their sufferings.

Both sides tackled the humanitarian matter, including health services and education and means to boost them, lauding KRSC efforts at the Arab and international arenas.

Tudor also expressed his admiration of KRCS role in offering aid to people and workforce in need, to help in combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, at the local and international levels.

Al-Sayer expressed happiness of Tudor visit to KRCS headquarters, as EU ambassador to Kuwait was briefed on the society’s humanitarian work all over the globe, and its distinguished role in fighting Covid-19.

KRCS implements a lot of projects and conducts various activities to offer help to people in need, life food, education, medical treatment, and medications, calling on people to take part in such humanitarian toil. (
