Explosion South of Turkey injures scores of people

ISTANBUL, Scores of people were reportedly injured Wednesday as a result of an attack on a police convoy in Adana province, south of Turkey, said a media source.

According to Anadolu Agency (AA), a top official in the province said that the attackers used an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) to target the convoy.

The official did not disclosed the number of those injured, saying that their wounds were not life threatening according to available information.
