Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah toured on Sunday Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq (KICRI), scheduled to take place from February 12 to 14.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled toured Bayan Palace area, where the main sessions of KICRI will take place next Wednesday, in addition to the International Coalition Against so-called Islamic State (IS).
The minister also visited the location of technical meetings that will take place tomorrow, and was briefed on the preparation for the high-level meetings that will take place, including the vital supporting role of Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs).
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also reviewed all administrative, security and organizational aspects in preparation for the various international events hosted by the State of Kuwait during the week.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled was accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also was accompanied by Assistant Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs, Ambassador Dhari Al-Ajran, Deputy Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ayham Al-Omar, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Saleh Al-Logani, and a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
