Foreign Minister pays respects to Bahrain’s late PM

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister and Acting Information Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah visited Bahrain’s embassy on Thursday to pay his respects after the death of the Gulf state’s Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.

The Kuwaiti minister remembered the late Bahraini premier’s “profound contributions” during a half century in power, which helped keep the Gulf island nation firmly on a path towards stability and prosperity, he said in a heartfelt eulogy for the world’s longest-serving prime minister.

He went on to say the “numerous accomplishments” of the late ruler would forever stand the test of time, offering the Bahraini people some solace amid these difficult times.
