Hamas claims control over Israeli drone S. Gaza

GAZA, The Palestinian Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) announced Tuesday that it had taken full control of a drone belonging to the Israeli army while flying over Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam said in a press statement that its members were able to control the aircraft early Tuesday morning east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

The group added that the drone was on a special mission inside Gaza Strip and carrying (thermal and day cameras) and (a device prepared to carry out a mission), pointing out that the intentions of the Israeli occupation has been identified and thwarted.

The Israeli occupation army had earlier announced the fall of a “drone” belonging to its forces inside Gaza Strip.
