The Ministry of Health announced that the Pfizer vaccine will cost the state 19.5 dollars, confirming that it will arrive in the country within the next two months.
The Director General of Public Health at the Ministry of Health, Riadh Al-Halfi, said in a press statement that the price of the Pfizer vaccine is currently offered at 19.5 dollars.”
He added that the Ministry of Health hopes that the first dose of the vaccine will arrive within the next two months.
He noted that Iraq hopes that the Kovax vaccine will arrive early next April.
Several neighboring countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan, have begun giving officials and the elderly the Pfizer vaccine.
