KUWAIT, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said Kuwait has undergone a “difficult experience” after severe damage inflicted upon roads and homes due to recent heavy rains, urging the country to come together amid the circumstances.
He told a meeting of public bodies tasked with the matter that the crisis is “not yet over,” as he called for the government’s cooperation and collaboration in the face of the natural calamity.
The unified efforts of state bodies in addressing the downpour’s aftermath need to continue unimpeded, he underlined, expressing his pride after they recently received the praise of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
“What you have accomplished is unprecedented. This also applies to the amount of rainfall the country has received,” he said.
