Israeli army kills Palestinian man, wounds 40 others W. Bank

RAMALLAH, A Palestinian man was killed and 40 others injured by the Israeli army’s bullets during clashes erupted in Salfit city in northern West Bank, Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

Mohammad Shahin, 23, was shot dead in the heart by Israel’s live ammunition, the ministry added in a press statement.

The Palestine Red Crescent said that its medical teams dealt with 40 cases injured by rubber bullets and tear gas.

The Israeli army broke into Salfit and controlled several surveillance cameras.

Earlier in the day, Yasser Showaiki, a Palestinian young man, was killed by the Israeli army in the city.
