Israeli fighter jets pound S. Gaza Strip

GAZA, Israeli F-16 warplanes attacked two sites belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Rafah and Khan Yunis, south Gaza Strip, repeatedly on Saturday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said the air attacks resulted in material damage in Ein Jalut site to the west of Khan Yunis and no casualties were reported so far.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Channel 10 TV station said the attacks came in response to the infiltration by some Hamas members to an Israeli military site on the borders of Gaza Strip.
