Israeli fire kills Palestinian, wounds several others E. Gaza

RAMALLAH, A Palestinian boy was killed and several others injured by the Israeli occupation forces’ fire on Friday in eastern Gaza.

Othman Helis, 15, was killed and 24 others wounded after the Israeli army opened fire and tear gas at the peaceful marches launched towards the Gaza Strip borders, Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement.

Three Palestinian people were injured by live bullets and many others by gas suffocation, medical sources in the Strip were quoted by local media as saying.

The Great March of Return has been staging since March 30 towards the Strip borders to confirm the right of Palestinians to return to their lands they forcibly left in 1948 and to demand the lifting of the blockade imposed on Gaza over 12 years.
