Israeli forces air raids Gaza Strip

GAZA, Palestinian sources quoted eyewitnesses on Wednesday as saying that Israeli forces launched a series of air raids targeting many areas in Gaza Strip, in response to rockets fired towards Israeli settlements.

Witnesses reported to KUNA that raids targeted northwestern Gaza with approximately three missiles launched from F-16 fighter aircrafts amid intensive flight in the skies of the sector.

Local Palestinian broadcast Al-Aqsa mentioned that the Israeli airstrikes hit the Marriot building in Al-Sudaniya city north of the Strip among the cities expected to be targeted.

Adding, an open land in Rafah city was targeted next to the border crossing by Salah Al-Din Gate south of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli sources confirmed two Israelis were injured when rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards the Israeli settlements.

Israeli newspaper (Haaretz) quoted an Israeli military spokesman as saying that eight rockets were launched from Gaza Strip towards Sderot settlement, located less than a mile from Gaza and mentioned the Iron Dome System intercepted two of them.
