Israeli forces shot dead Palestinian in Gaza – sources

RAMALLAH, Israeli occupation forces shot dead a Palestinian man at the border fence with Gaza Strip, raising number of Palestinian victims to four on Friday, medical sources said.

Mohammad Badwan, 27, was killed after he was shot on his chest while participating in a peaceful March of Return protest east of Gaza, the sources were quoted by local media as saying.

Israeli artillery killed three Palestinians earlier today: Shaaban Abu Khater, 31, Mohammad Abu Farhaneh, 26, and Mahmoud Qeshta, 23.

Israeli media reported an exchange of fire between Palestinians and occupation forces at the Gaza borders.

The Israeli deadly attacks came hours after Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman threatened to launch “wide-scale and painful operation” on Gaza in response to firing of balloons and kites causing fire in Israeli lands.
