JMMC’s meeting seeks to preserve stability at oil markets — Kuwaiti min.

ALGIERS, The meeting of the Joint OPEC/Non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) that begins on Sunday aims to maintain stability at oil markets, Kuwait’s Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Bakheet Al-Rashidi said on Saturday.

Al-Rashidi made the statement to KUNA as soon as he arrived in Algiers to take part in the JMMC’s meeting, which kicks off tomorrow.

The meeting will discuss the commitment of member states to output quotas, he added.

The conferees will review member state’s production, he said, stressing that “we target full commitment to keeping oil markets stable”. They will assess latest developments of the global oil market.

They will discuss the provision of international markets with oil to help markets which allow to support investment projects in the oil domain, Al-Rashidi noted.
