Kuwait embassy in Turkey urges citizens abide by new anti-covid measures

– The State of Kuwait Embassy in Turkey on Wednesday called on Kuwaiti citizens to adhere to a new set of precautions declared by the local authorities to curb the novel coronavirus.

The embassy urged, in a statement, the Kuwaiti nationals to observe the partial curfew due to be effective as 8:00 p.m. Friday until 10:00 a.m. the next day.

The new measures are applicable on people aged less than 20 in addition to the partial curfew imposed on those above 65 of age; except for some workers.

Also according to the new measures, smoking is prohibited in public.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca declared on Tuesday that death toll of the novel coronavirus rose to 11,704 in addition to the contaminations, amounting to 421,413.
