KUWAIT HAILS INTACT UNITY AMONG GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL STATES

Kuwait, on Monday, spoke highly of the intact unity, among the Gulf Cooperation Council states, amid various kinds of challenges over the years.

The Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) unity and solidarity is still intact, standing against various kinds of challenges and trials over the years, said Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled delivered the opening speech, to the 144th Foreign Ministers meeting, held ahead of the 38th GCC’s Summit on Dec 5-6 (today and tomorrow). He said, the presence of the meeting’s participants will contribute to the success of the summit.

Stressing the importance of the upcoming summit, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister said, it will contribute to the continuation of the council’s success.

The Kuwaiti Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his fellow GCC leaders, hope that the summit will continue to be the venue that serves the people of the region, and carries on the rapid development of GCC nations, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, added.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister hoped that, the summit will meet the aspirations and dreams of the people in the region, and continue the GCC’s strong stride towards a brighter future.
