Kuwait logs 21 coronavirus cases, no deaths

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Wednesday that 21 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, taking the country’s caseload to 413,383.

The recoveries rose by 19 to 410,646 and the death toll from the pandemic remained unchanged at 2,465, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA. There are 272 patients receiving treatment, including 10 who are treated at hospital wards, while Covid-19 ICU remained vacant.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 19,969 increasing the total to 5,350,472, the spokesman added.
