Kuwait oil price up 23 cents to USD 40.42 pb

The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 23 cents to USD 40.42 per barrel Thursday after it was at USD 40.19 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Friday.
In global markets, Brent crude decreased by 73 cents to stand at USD 40.06 and the West Texas Intermediate was also down 75 cents to settle at USD 37.30 pb.
