Kuwait PM departs Egypt after two-day visit

CAIRO, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left Cairo on Monday ending a two-day official visit.

Bidding him farewell at the airport was Egypt’s Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly and other officials, alongside Kuwait’s Ambassador to Egypt Mohammad Al-Thuwaikh and Permanent Arab League Representative Ahmad Al-Baker.

During his visit, the Kuwaiti prime minister met Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi, to deliver a handwritten message from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The letter spoke of means to support bilateral relations and issues of mutual importance.

He also met the Speaker of Egypt’s House of Representatives Ali Abdelaal and held bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Madbouly.

The talks touched on means to boost relations and views on issues of common concern.

The two sides also approved several agreements and memorandums of understanding related to bilateral cooperation.
