BEIRUT, Lebanon, – Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), on Sunday, distributed aid to nearly 250 Syrian refugee families in eastern Lebanon.
The aid consists of food packages, in addition to hygiene equipment, said KRCS field team chief, Abdullah Al-Zaid, in a statement to KUNA.
Moreover, Al-Zaid noted that, he is hopeful that such aid, doled out by KRCS, would help mitigate the adversity that these refugees are living in.
Ever since the Syrian conflict erupted, some five years ago, KRCS has provided incessant aid to Syrian refugees, running the gamut from nutritive to medical assistance.
More than one million Syrian refugees are languishing in camps all across Lebanon, many of them mired in sheer penury.
