Kuwait has today confirmed 494 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 155,335 cases.
The Ministry said that one infected patient had passed away, raising the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic to 946.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 4814, with 47 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, who revealed that some 10,340 swab tests were conducted over the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health had announced that 202 infected patients had recovered, bringing the overall tally to 149, 575.
