KUWAIT, Mar 24 (NNN-KUNA) – Kuwait and South Korea, discussed Thursday, means of cementing their bilateral relations, at the political, economic, and academic and health levels.
The Kuwaiti embassy in Seoul, said in a statement, the Kuwaiti assistant foreign minister for Asian affairs, ambassador Ali Suleiman Al-Saeed, headed the Kuwaiti delegation, that engaged in talks with Korean officials, headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Lee Jeong-Kyu, held in the South Korean capital.
Ambassador Al-Saeed, in remarks to KUNA, expressed deep satisfaction at the outcome of the discussions, that dealt with cooperation and bilateral relations in the political, economic, and academic and health sectors.
Views of the two sides were in harmony during the meeting, he said, adding that, the Korean side lauded the Amir’s global humanitarian role.
They agreed on bolstering further the cooperation, so that Korean companies would pursue their ventures in Kuwait.
Moreover, the two parties agreed on implementing agreements, that had been inked during a visit by the premier to the nation last year — with respect to academic and health cooperation.
