This requires swift and effective action by the international community to curb these attacks, stop them, and support efforts of the UN Secretary General’s special envoy to Yemen, to reach a political solution according to the three terms of reference, in a manner that guarantees security and stability of Yemen and the region, the source added.

The three terms of reference are the Gulf Initiative and its executive mechanism, outcomes of the Yemeni National Dialogue Conference and relevant UN resolutions, mainly resolution 2216.

Kuwait fully stands by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and supports all measures it takes to ensure its security and stability, the official concluded.
