KUWAIT, The first Kuwaiti-Greek joint ministerial committee meeting on economic and technical cooperation, which kicked-off on Wednesday in the Greek capital, Athens, discussed boosting bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Participants in two-day meeting addressed particularly economic, financial, investment, commercial and industrial cooperation, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said in a press release.
They dealt with enhancing cooperation in the field of tourism, media, health, culture, commerce and civil aviation, it explained.
Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Finance Nabil Al-Abdul Jalil headed the Kuwaiti side during today’s meeting while the Greek side was represented by the Deputy Director at the Department for Bilateral Economic Relations at the Greek Foreign Ministry Ambassador Constantina Athenasado, along with several officials from both countries.
Minister of Finance Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf is chairing the meeting of the Kuwaiti-Greek ministerial committee, while the Greek side is represented by Foreign Minister Sia Anagnostopoulou, who handles European affairs.
