Kuwait’s COVID-19 cases jump by 231 to 146,449, one new death

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health (MoH) registered on Monday 231 additional COVID-19 cases in a span of 24 hours, increasing the total number of infections to 146,449, while one new death was recorded to a death toll of 912.

Plus, active cases amounted to 3,180 with 57 of them in intensive care units, MoH’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

Health authorities conducted 4,963 swab tests in 24 hours to a total of 1,185,625, he revealed.

Al-Sanad urged everyone in Kuwait to adhere to precautionary measures against the virus.

Earlier, the ministry confirmed 263 fresh recovery cases, added to a total of 142,357 cured people thus far.
