WAM Sharjah, 1st Jan. 2012 (WAM) – Under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, 97 Emirati couples tied the knot in the second mass wedding held at Dhaid in Sharjah.
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, who attended the joyous ceremony, affirmed the leadership’s commitment to support national community-driven initiatives aimed at building a good stable, cohesive family.
Sheikh Nahyan shook hands with bridegrooms, wishing them a happy life.
