Kuwait’s Public Authority for Industry has launched a new e-platform that enables users to access a large number of its customs services and transactions.
The platform has been developed according to the highest levels of efficiency in terms of ease of registration, Deputy Director-General and Assistant Undersecretary Mohammad Al-Adwani said in a statement on Thursday.
The platform is linked to the electronic system in place at the General Administration of Customs, discarding the need for approvals and time spent visiting offices.
The need arose to switch to a paperless administration as soon as possible amid the government’s plans to address the coronavirus pandemic as the move stems from the directives of both the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the Director-General of the Public Authority for Industry.
