JADDAH, Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) are to meet in Dakka, Bangladesh Saturday, said OIC Thursday.
The 45th Session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Member States of the OIC, themed “Islamic Values for Sustainable Peace, Solidarity and Development”, will focus on the sufferings of Rohingya Muslims minority and latest developments of the issue.
Participants will be offered a documentary on the Rohingya sufferings in a special session.
Prior to the meeting, ministers are scheduled to visit refugee camps at Coxs Bazar, a city located about 70 kms away from Myanmar border.
Coxs Bazar hosts the largest numbers of Rohingya, more than million people.
The meeting will also address other humanitarian issues of the Islamic world, the OIC noted.(
