GAZA, The Palestinian government said on Sunday it has received more than USD two million from Kuwait as part of its previous pledge to help in Gaza reconstruction efforts.
The USD-2.150-million sum has been allocated for infrastructure projects in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian Minister of Public Works and Housing Mufid Al-Hasayna said in a press statement.
The minister thanked the Kuwaiti government and Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) for their relentless support to the Palestinian people.
Kuwait had pledged USD 200 million for Gaza reconstruction efforts during a conference held in Cairo in 2014.
