Paris witnesses riots during World Cup victory’s celebrations

The French capital, Paris, witnessed riots on the streets during the celebrations marking the national team’s winning the 2018 World Cup, prompting police to intervene quickly.

The French press reported police firing tear gas canisters into the rioting crowd to disperse them after they attempted to destroy stores and cars in the Parisian streets.

The streets were filled on Sunday with hilarious fans of France’s national team, who beat Croatia in the World Cup final 4-2.
