Kuwait will participate with seven national factories at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS), said the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) Tuesday.
The 4-days exhibition with be held in the capital Kuala Lumpur with participation of nearly 400 companies from all over the world.
In a statement to KUNA, PAI said that the national companies participating in (MIHAS) are Kuwaiti-Danish Dairy Company (KDD), Al Seedawi Laboratories Co, Ahlai Group Co, Jana Dates Company, Mujezat Al-Shifa Company, Kuwait Packing Materials Manufacturing Company, and Organic Honey factory.
MIHAS considered one of the largest international exhibition for halal goods in the food sectors, which are highly on demand, the statement indicated.
Through this showcase, Malaysia is encouraging world countries to develop (halal) products as a trade mark and to and to provide a commercial platform to marketing such products dur to the increased global demands on them.
The authority pointed out that its participation in this exhibition with a group of national companies comes to expand the promising economic and trade opportunities for Kuwaiti factories and companies and to facilitate the entry of Kuwaiti exports into the Southeast Asian markets in order to achieve a positive economic return for the state.
