KHARTOUM, April 14 (NNN-SUNA) — Sudanese President Omer Al-Basher and his delegation have returned to Khartoum after concluding a three days-visit to Kuwait and Bahrain.
He was received on arrival at the airport here Thursday by the First Vice-President and Prime Minister, General Bakri Hassan Saleh, various Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials.
Foreign Minister Professor Ibrahim Ghandour said in an arrival statement to the media that Sudan and the two Gulf States agreed to establish strategic partnerships for which the relevant agreements would be signed soon.
The foreign minister added that Kuwaiti officials had affirmed the continuation of support for development projects in Sudan while in Bahrain, President Al-Basher and the King of Bahrain agreed to open the kingdom’s embassy in Khartoum soon. President al- Basher also invited the King of Bahrain to visit Sudan. —
