Team Bahrain accomplished the progress in achievements praised by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE: Finance Minister

Manama, The Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has welcomed the praise by Gulf ministers and the Arab Monetary Fund of Bahrain’s achievements in implementing the Fiscal Balance Program’s initiatives in line with its established timeframes.

The Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, the Minister of Finance of the State of Kuwait, Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf, the Assistant Minister for International Financial Affairs and Macro Fiscal Policies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz Al-Rasheed have praised the results achieved thus far, and noted the determination of Government authorities to achieve the initiatives thoroughly.

Shaikh Salman said that the progress Bahrain’s achievement was accomplished by Team Bahrain team who worked as one team comprising members from the executive and legislative branches and from the public and private sectors. And benefit the citizens.

Team Bahrain has steadily and dedicatedly endeavored to accomplish achievements that elevate the status of the Kingdom, fulfill the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and benefit the citizens, he added.

Efforts are being steadily exerted to implement all the initiatives with determination and resolve in order to reach the financial balance point by 2022, which has been the goal set by the Bahrain team since the program was launched in October, Shaikh Salman said.

The positive feedback on the implementation of the program is a source of pride, and we hope that it will motivate everyone to intensify their efforts and continue to implement the financial balance initiatives according to the timetable of each of them to achieve further successes that will, upon reaching the program objective, contribute, to the greater development and further prosperity of Bahrain, he said.
