Trump invited by Erdogan to visit Turkey – WH

WASHINGTON, The White House announced late Monday that Turkish President Recent Tayyip Erdogan invited President Donald Trump to visit Turkey in 2019.

In a statement, the White House noted “while nothing definite is being planned, the President is open to a potential meeting in the future.” Trump announced in a tweet on Sunday that he had a “long and productive call” with Erdogan, during which they discussed the so-called Islamic State (IS), Syria and “heavily expanded Trade”.
