Trump, Qatar Amir discuss Mideast “security issues” – WH

WASHINGTON, US President Donald Trump spoke by telephone, Thursday, with the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani during which they discussed “Middle East security issues.” The White House said in a statement that the two leaders also discussed “work being done by Qatar to support regional stability.” They also spoke about the “success” of Sheikh Tamim’s recent visit, back in July, to the White House, the statement added.
