US unemployment records lowest rate since 1969

WASHINGTON, The unemployment rate declined to 3.5 percent in September, and total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 136,000, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

The US monthly international trade deficit increased in August 2019 according to the US Bureau of Economic Analysis and the US Census Bureau.

The deficit increased from USD 54.0 billion in July (revised) to USD 54.9 billion in August, as imports increased more than exports.
