WAM Abu Dhabi, Nov 27th, 2012 (WAM) — Ahmed Shabib Al Dhahiri, Director-General of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation has discussed with Fouad Siniora, former prime minister of Lebanon, the charitable projects implemented by the Foundation in Lebanon during a meeting here in Abu Dhabi.
Al Dhahiri said that as per the directives of H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Foundation, the foundation has implemented a number of humanitarian projects in Lebanon in health, educational and social fields.
During the meeting, he conveyed greetings of Sheikh Nahyan and Sheikh Omar to Siniora and pointed to a number of projects which were implemented by the Foundation in Lebanon in addition to relief projects in several occasions.
He also referred that the Foundation studies a host of projects that Siniora presented in order to be carried out in the future for the benefit of the brotherly people of Lebanon.
For his part, former Lebanese leader expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the UAE’s leadership and people for the generous aid for his country particularly thanking Sheikh Nahyan and Sheikh Omar who direct to extend assistance to Lebanon in all occasions.
